A rage room is a place where you can smash, bash and break things. It’s a place to let your anger and frustration flow. Well Nashville, we have one and I had to try it for myself.
When I arrived at Bash-ville, I got suited up in a white jumpsuit, face shield and gloves. I picked a bat and an ax to work with and was shown into the bash room. My final instructions were ‘have fun, don’t hold back and don’t throw up, throw down.’
Are these ladies life coaches, as well as owners of a rage room?
I was a little reserved at the start. The first thing I smashed was a plate. I gave it a toss against the wall and watched it shatter. One of the owners yelled from the other room, ‘throw harder!’ I laughed and yelled back ‘okay.’
It was time to get serious. I got the bat and annihilated my buckets of bashable stuff. I continued to smash wine bottles, television’s, computer monitors and anything else around me.
It doesn’t take long to get into it. I would yell as I bashed stuff and than crack up laughing.
I used the ax on an old, tv console. I smashed it into the wood, leaving gaping holes and than smashed it again and again. Oh man, that felt good.
In the end, I was hot and sweaty but it felt good. My stress was gone and it was a lot cheaper than a therapist.
You have to try this, Nashville!! It’s worth every dollar spent.
Here are some things to remember:
You can bash alone or with a group. They offer a variety of bash packages. It just depends on what you want to do and how much you want to smash.
Please be respectful and honor the rage room rules.
Oh yeah, be sure to get a glitter bomb.
